Data Presentation and Application In-Class Passage 1
Microplastic deposits pose significant environmental challenges to marine habitats. Figure 1 shows the abundance of three microplastic categories in 12 deep-sea sediment locations across the world. In figure 1, microplastic abundance is given in the number of pieces of microplastics per 50 ml of deep-sea sediment.
Table 1 shows the oceanic location and depth of four deep-sea sediment samples.
